It was developed for bodies up to 13.2 meters long. The O 500 U 1826 chassis provides maximum passenger comfort and safety thanks to its front and central sections levelled at 370 mm above the ground, to its full air suspension, to its left and right (optional) side kneeling function and to its automatic transmission with integrated retarder. The OM 926 LA BlueTec 5 (Euro 5) electronically managed engine features a new output ratio (256 Hp), which gives it superior performance in intense high volume city traffic. Thanks to these features, the O 500 U 1826 chassis fully meets today’s passenger transport demands.
