The Mercedes-Benz OF 917 chassis, is a raised-floor bus chassis with a front-mounted 170 Hp engine. This MidiBus chassis is ready for fitment of bus bodies seating 22 to 40 people.The chassis will be available as a “competitive, affordable” product, supported by Mercedes-Benz quality and service levels. This MidiBus chassis will find use in the school, shuttle, smaller companies, tourist and church markets.
The chassis is powered by the 4D34i – Daimler platform engine, with fuel efficiency and reliability at its core.
The engine produces 170 Hp with output torque of 520Nm at 1500rpm ensuring optimum power to meet your requirements.
The chassis is equipped with the MO 36 – 6 speed manual transmission a smooth and robust gearbox for an effortless ride.
The frame and suspension is built for performing during rugged use by design, including parabolic spring suspension for softer ride and less transfer of road undulations.
